Having the ability to add information about how the accrual works on the time off requests page in the employee portal would be helpful. For example, being able to add a category to the time off request screen that shows the maximum amount an employee could accrue, and at the same time preventing it from being time off requestable, would be useful.
Employees would quickly find out important information about their accruals and would be empowered to make better decisions with the time they've accrued.
