I had an employee clock in over the weekend, but I had already finalized the pay period. The EE webclock did NOT warn the employee nor did it inform me as the Admin and the punches were NOT there. This is very dangerous, the system should at least warn the employee and/or Admin the that the pay period has been finalized and to contact the Admin.
