ISSUE: We are heavily using your API to synchronize our time off system with the SwipeClock time off system. When our two systems our out of sync, that is, when there is conflicting or missing time off requests in SwipeClock, we are unable to synchronize our two systems. This occurs when an employee requests time off or changes or withdraws a time off request in the SwipeClock system.
RESOLUTION: Allow manager/supervisor to disable employees’ ability to create, change or withdraw time off requests in Swipe Clock but still allow time off requests to be created via the API.
This will allow our system to create and manage time off requests and push through the API.
This might tie in with existing development effort to allow supervisors to create time off requests for employees. (See IDX-I-93 Supervisor Time Off Request on Time Card in SwipeClock Product Ideas).
