Increase user name characters from 30 to 50

This would enable us to accommodate email addresses as user names which is the easiest way to make the user name completely unique. Currently 13% of our email addresses are longer than 30 characters but all are less than 50.

Bill,

You do know that this can be accomplished today by creating a shorter, “compliant” user login, then changing the login to the email address?

Since I know this CAN be done as demonstrated by the fact that you can change the user login to a full email address (see image), I was curious if this was going to be fixed any time soon?

this would be SUPER helpful, that way we could simply setup new client users with their email address being the user name. Great idea!!
