The Mobile application's time off request function currently does not allow a user to make a request for time in the past. Many of my clients will have employee submit a Time Off Request for Sick Time in arrears, the day after they called in Sick. This function is allowable in the ESS Portal (I believe employees may request time off as far into the past as one pay period).
Seeing as Time Off Requests still need to be approved by a manager, I do not see a major issue with allowing employees to submit a time off request into the past, up to a certain point such as one pay period into the past. Given that the function is possible in ESS but not in the Mobile Application, I would hope we could see a consistent experience across both access points.
