This is similar to idea https://wfh.ideas.aha.io/ideas/IDX-I-1154, with the main different being an actual rule that can be controlled per client. If a client wants the balance to show at zero, we can set it up accordingly. I imagine this would take much more development effort, but this would allow you and us to serve both types of clients
