Large companies would be able to utilize IP restrictions that are specified to only certain departments. That way people who work in the office department (for example) can only clock in when they are physically in the office. But large companies may be utilizing mobile clocking for installers (as example) where their punches cannot be IP restricted.

I might take it a step further and request that an IP Restriction be assignable by an attribute such as an Employee Group or Location. We have several clients with multiple locations and currently I would have to enter an IP for each location when all they really want is the ability to lock down one specific location or group of Employees.
