Some clients really don't want employees to need to punch in/out of Labor Prompts and would rather their Labor Allocation be driven by scheduled shift. This can be accomplished using the Basic Scheduler (using the reportingdate.schedplace variable) however it is not possible in Time Simplicity currently.
Adding a means for exporting a particular value (Workgroup/Position/Schedule Level) to the reportingdate.schedplace variable would be an excellent improvement allowing us to solution this need for clients. Better yet would be to have a Labor Prompt similar to Location Stamp that can be mapped to the shift assignment. Best might be the inclusion of Time Simplicity specific scripting variables, such as reportingdate.tsworkgroup, reportingdate.tsschedlevel1, etc).
