The purpose of this idea is to structure the setup of the "Home" fields in the Employee Setup screen to match the setup of the Department, Pay Rate, and Location fields to facilitate a more logical setup and easier scripting.
For the Department, Pay Rate, and Location fields, the Employee Setup screen offers a default field (i.e. Department, Default Pay Rate, and Location) and then when you add additional user fields you can employ Deparrtment 1...Department 9, Pay Rate 1...Pay Rate 9, and Location 1...Location 9.
The Home field, however, doesn't have a field just labeled "Home," rather it starts with Home 1, Home 2, and Home 3. Logically, Home 1 would align with Department 1, Pay Rate 1, and Location 1, for example. That means a field called "Home" would then logically align with Department, Default Pay Rate, and Location. However, no such field exists.
To create a more uniform experience for the client with all Employee Setup fields, there would be great value in adding a "Home" field that is the default and then making Home 1...Home 9 additional user fields like Departments, Pay Rates, and Locations. Thank you for any/all consideration!
