The purpose of this idea is to eliminate the need for duplicate data entry between TWP and TS and ensure the employee data stays synced between the two systems at all times.
Currently, TimeSimplicity will only import the home department for each employee and in many industries employees work multiple departments at multiple rates. As such, the data that is populated for the allowable Locations and Workgroups an employee can work in should be driven by the data in their TWP record and synced with it at all times.
Keeping the data synced is integral to being able to use the two systems harmoniously and makes the application instrumentally more functional for clients who have employees that work multiple departments.
