Adding Dept. # when scheduling in TimeWorks Plus
Using the scheduling feature for a new TimeWorks Plus client: This is a restaurant - many of their workers do time in different departments. In the scheduling feature when you schedule an EE it automatically assumes and assigns the scheduled time to the Home Department from the EE setup fields. For EE's that work in MANY departments this makes the coverage view by Department completely useless. For example: Jane Smith is my bartender, and her home department is 100
Tuesday I need her to cover a server shift, which is department 400
I schedule those hours for her, but am not given the option to select what department she is working
Her schedule reflects all her hours being in 100
My coverage view by department 400 shows a blank in the time I have her scheduled because it is not her home department.
What is the possibility of allowing to assign worked times by department number or by the XPrompt? Could be a drop down based on the Prompt list.
This seems like a potentially simple fix that will make the basic scheduling feature FAR more useful for all the people using it.
