It would be helpful to have access to the latest effective dates in the employee section for scripting purposes. For instance, accrual scripting could look at this field to see if the employee has changed from PT to FT as of a date in the Employee.Type field to apply the scripting appropriate. Now we have to add a date in a home field in the format yyyy-mm-dd format to test in scripting.
Also, we get requests for pay rate history, so being able to report on pay rate history based on the effective date fields would be helpful, if it could be included when the new report writer is released. :)
