TimeSimplicity & Other Product Ideas

TimeSimplicity Calculate OT Based on Workgroup

Currently, TimeSimplicity is set up to apply overtime hours based on employee not workgroup. This can be problematic for our clients who reference the scheduled hours and calculation bars for further use whether internal tracking, billing, etc.

Example: Jennifer Smith belongs to both the Nursing and Direct Care workgroups. She works 45 hours in one week in the Nursing workgroup and 0 hours in the Direct Care workgroup. 40 of the Nursing hours are regular hours and TS breaks 5 hours out as overtime hours. When viewing the Direct Care workgroup, the 5 overtime hours are applied here as well if using the overtime calculation bar.

It would be great if overtime were specific to workgroups when creating calculation bars as it can create misleading totals otherwise.
