E-Signature field added to the Employee's Time Cards. Merged

Hello Team
Please see Case# 47013 - This client, Family Services of Tulare County, has asked for an option that they NEED. They need the time cards to have an E-signature option. They are willing to pay for this option to be added. Here is the email that they sent me:

"Hello Bob,

As discussed on the phone previously here is my request:
In order to meet grant standards, it is necessary to have a box at the bottom of our S.C. timecards where we can insert our electronic signatures. I do not believe we need to have S.C. store each employees electronic signature if that is the issue. We simply need a way to insert our signature electronically. It would be best to have this done by the first week of July to avoid having to print and sign our electronic timecards. That would defeat the purpose of this whole automation process. When the signature box is inserted, we can remove the signature lines from the timecards. Please reply to this email so I can keep the persons cc'd clued in to the progress of this task or if there is further clarification needed they will be able to help if I am out of the office.

Thank you for all of your hard work,

Heather L. Reed
HR Coordinator
Family Services of Tulare County "

Please let me know when this can be done.

Thank you,
Bobby Bowden

UPDATE!!

Hello Team
Please see the email below. This client asked me a few months ago if it would be possible to add electronic signatures to the time cards, for both employee and supervisors, for when they approve their time cards. The answer I received back from you all was, 'not at this time, but please submit a request to the Product Ideas Portal'. Which I did. Well now it looks like something is going to NEED to be done about it. Here is the email I was sent from the client:

"Hello Bob! The request I submitted regarding the signature box is now a need rather than a request.

Our agency went through an audit last week and we had them look over our new timecards, to point out any concerns. Their only concern is how do we show WHO approved each timecard? Currently the timecard shows Supervisor approved and Employee approved and not the name of who approved it. I am asking you what can we do to make sure our funders are happy?

Are either of these ideas possible?

1. A text box that we can simply type our name in, rather than the electronic storage of signatures
2. A report I can run that includes the names of who approved the timecards for all employees

Thank you Bob!"

In regards to question #2, as of right now your "Approvals Report" does not show who the supervisor is that approved the punches. Would it be possible to get this info to show up on the report?

Given that the HUB now supports employees acknowledgements and date/time stamping, can that aspect be ported over to the timecard signatures so each employee can sign their timecard periodically?
