Currently, employees will see shifts available for pick up (using the "Pickup Shift" button) on days when they have approved time off requests. They are able to submit a request to pick the shift up, but the scheduler can't approve these pickup requests due to the time off. I think the right preventive measure is in place on the scheduler side (unable to approve), but I think it would be better if employees weren't able to see these shifts available for pickup.
It's good from a scheduler standpoint right now since if an employee wishes to pick up a shift on a day scheduled off, they'd have to retract their time off request in TWP (keeping everything accurate), but it would be ideal if they couldn't see open shifts on days they have approved time off (similar to the rules for "No OT" and "No Over Max Hours").
