TimeSimplicity & Other Product Ideas

We would like for there to be some new additional options on the ESS Tab* (Accountant Menu> Processing Rules> ESS Tab). But it's beginnings would be rooted within the "Clock Prompt" setup.

The new options would appear for each "Clock Prompt" created, that was set to "Visible/Editable", or "Visible/ Not Editable" in the "Clock Prompt" Setup. (selecting one of those options would automatically add these "Clock Prompts" to the new "Clock Prompt list" that would be created within the ESS tab.) It would display a list of the Clock Prompts (that were set to visible) and list two radial buttons next to them (Very similarly to how the "Clock Prompt" selectable options appear in the "Manage Custom Reports" options. See that for reference.) called "View" and "Editable":

• View: (For the prompts that were originally setup for "Visible/ Editable", the "View", and "Editable" radial button options would appear, and could be selected. Thereby allowing the client to choose if the employee could View, and/ or also Edit the info in these columns on the time card. For the prompts that were originally setup for "Visible/ Not Editable", only the "View" radial button would be available for selection. Thereby allowing the client to choose if the employee(s) could View this info or not.) 
• Editable: allowing the client to decide if employee can Edit this Clock Prompt/ Column field on the time card or not.

This would allow the client to select the Level of "View", and "Editing" that the employee(s) would have available to them on their time cards through ESS, without limiting themselves (Accountant, Client, and Supervisor level users) from seeing and editing all of the Clock Prompts/ Columns that would/ should appear on the employee(s) time card. This will add greater Flexibility to this system, and giving it more range and usefulness, to both us, our clients, and their employees.

* These option settings could also, possibly, be added to the "Time Card Approvals" rule, instead of the ESS Tab. But you all would know better, where best to apply this.
