The purpose of this idea is to allow numeric clock prompts and categories that utilize Amounts in TWP to accept negative values.
Sometimes a client may make a mistake when posting a Bonus, Commission, Tip, or other dollar amount value in the timekeeping system. In these cases, the client may need to rescind the overpayment from the employee by reversing the excess paid.
For example, an employee was supposed to receive a bonus for $525 but received a bonus for $575. A client or supervisor with appropriate permissions should be able to post a -$50 bonus in the following pay period to rescind the overpayment. However, if you attempt to do this, TWP gives you an error that negative numbers are not allowed.
Can TWP be updated to allow to negative values for numeric clock prompts and categories that utilize the Amount column in order to correct overpayments within the system? Thank you for your consideration!
