The purpose of this idea is to eliminate the need to use the ddate clock prompt in order to be able to view labor totals by day.
Right now, if you want to view hours or dollars by day in the labor report, you need to create a clock prompt called ddate and set it equal to reportingdate.date. This is the guidance relayed in the Supper Center at https://support.payrollservers.us/customer/en/portal/articles/2405436-viewing-hours-by-day-in-the-labor-report---twp?b_id=8699.
This process seems slightly redundant as the dates are already on the timecard (all the way to the left) and adding the ddate prompt means the same date is on the same timecard line twice.
Instead of needing to employ the ddate prompt to view the labor report by day, inherently program the system to recognize the date of each timecard line and add an option to the Labor Report to filter that recognizable date. Don't require a clock prompt.
