Wondering if there is a variant on the current feature designed at limiting the maximum shift length for employees (in Schedule Compliance) to be "max hours per day."
Example: Company has a max shift length rule of 10 hours. Employee A works 8am - 2pm but then has to pick up a 2pm - 10pm to cover Employee B (making Employee A's hours worked in a single day 14 hours). This would circumvent the 10-hour max shift length rule and allow an employee to work more hours in a row than the max shift length rule allows.
It's possible I missed this as I browsed through our demo account tinkering with settings, but I figured I'd make a suggestion in case it doesn't exist.
