During a new client configuration, we manually create all supervisor logins for our clients. For large accounts, this is a very time consuming task. Having the ability to create these accounts, with all applicable settings, via import would be a huge improvement.
Here is a suggested list of columns, which could be tied back to the different aspects of client/supervisor setup:
- Login Type: Client/Supervisor (required)
- Supervisor Login ID (required)
- Default Password (required)
- First Name (required)
- Last Name (required)
- Email
- Phone Number
- All Active Employees (Y or blank)
- All employees including inactive (Y or blank)
- All employees in group (name of group or blank)
- criteria statement: (whole typed out statement, or blank):
- this one would know to create additional statements, based on the inclusion of AND/OR
- Supervisor = John Doe OR Supervisor = Jane Doe OR Supervisor = John Smith
- Can See Wages (Y or blank)
- Can Edit Punches (Y or blank)
- Can Access Employee Setup (Y or blank)
- Can Edit/Delete Unmatched Punches (Y or blank)
Notes:
- I thought you would leave out the "alternate employees visible" section of Supervisor Account Visibility section as it is not commonly used
- I thought you could leave out the "for which employees is this supervisor allowed to approve" as it is most commonly set to all active employees
- You could remove number 8 (all active employees) and have that be the default if nothing is set for 9-11
