Custom Date Fields on the Time Simplicity Schedule

We have company that would like the schedule to have an optional view of two weeks, one full month or a custom field that will allow them to select the time frame they choose to show and schedule by. They would like the option to select the date ranges that they choose and not what is in the drop down options. Lastly, if the pay rates are entered in will the scheduled amount show what the cost would be once the scheduled is corrected and/or published?

    Hi Bill,

You are wonderful thank you sooooo much. I will let our client know ☺ Where you able to get the view field to allow a custom field in that will allow the client to choose what dates to show and not have use the pre-filled dates? Let me know when you have a moment.

    Candice,

Thanks for the feedback!  To answer your question, if the user has rights and a calculation bar has been created to calculate total $ they would see this information on the scheduler screen.

One thing to be aware of is that the calculation for dollars is just based upon the employee’s flat rate, so we are not calculating anything to represent OT, or double time, etc. and this amount is just based off scheduled hours, not actual worked hours.  TimeSimplicity uses just the employee’s flat rate X hours scheduled.

Also, the $ amount is always shown and is updated as you are creating schedules.  Publishing schedules does not impact this calculation.  Hope this helps.

    Best,
    Bill
