A client has asked that Swipeclock reconsider offering a hand-scanner clock option. Their legal counsel has indicated that companies have fewer legal obligations when the clock doesn't utilize fingerprint data. The hand-scanner clocks (such as GT-400) seemingly don't utilize that data but still protect against buddy punching.
