A possible workaround until groups can be created - would it be possible allow the filter settings to be saved per user so the next time a manager goes into scheduling, they see their employees already filtered from a previously saved setting? (Maybe just being able to 'Save View')?
I second, third, and fourth Ricks idea. One of the best things about TimeSimplicity is being able to schedule employees by groups, where managers see only their assigned employees. I know that currently, we can filter their employees by manager/ department codes, etc., but if we are going to offer WFHUB to our larger clients, this is critical for those organizations.
