The time off request portal is important because it ensures the supervisor or manager can review and approve the time before its added to the timecard automatically. With clients that allow their staff to edit their own timecards, this also currently allows them to bypass the time off request portal and their supervisor approval and add the time themselves. I think it would be an important feature to ensure those particular earning codes cannot be directly added by the employee.
