Site Status Indicator for Complete or Partial Outages
There really should be a public facing web page that has the status of your various software platforms and accompanying services (i.e. API). With SaaS, it's vital that customers and resellers know what's going on in order to ease the burden on support staff when an outage is happening (like last night).
For example, the website could be as simple as showing a grid with the following information:
Product - Status - Last Updated
TimeWorksPlus - Good (green indicator symbol) - 5/26/2016 8:30am MST
TimeWorksPlus API - Intermittent (yellow indicator symbol) - 5/26/2016 8:30am MST
TimeSimplicity - Down (red indicator symbol) - 5/26/2016 8:30am MST
TimeSimplicity API - Down - 5/26/2016 8:30am MST
