Currently, there is no data validation being done before the Onboarding system attempts to send a new hire to Millennium to make sure that the Employee ID and/or SSN are not already in use by an existing employee in Millennium. Clients often have re-hires go through on-boarding and then we get errors when the employee data is sent to Millennium. They also enter Employee ID's that are already in use, which also creates errors. If the Onboarding system could check to make sure the Employee ID and SSN aren't already in use when the hiring manager completes their portion of the process, that would save a lot of time that the HUB Support Team currently has to spend manually correcting the data and removing new hires from the new hire dashboard.
