Many new hire documents require information that cannot be populated because the data isn't in the on-boarding system. For example, the Employee Status (Part-Time or Full-Time) isn't captured until after the new hire has completed their portion of the on-boarding, so Employee Status can not be used on any of the new hire docs. Also, some states require that you provide a document to the new hire with their starting pay rate on it. Pay Rate is another field that isn't populated until after the new hire has completed their portion. If we could add custom questions to the beginning of the on-boarding process when the hiring manager is first adding the new hire, then we could use the responses from those custom questions in the new hire documents.
