Change Syntrio Code of Ethics default in On-Boarding to unchecked

With the recent partnership with Syntrio, a Code of Ethics video component was added to On-Boarding, and is checked by default, so it is required that new hires watch the video. Of all the clients I have using On-Boarding, none of them want to require their new hires to have to watch the video. Because the option for this video defaults to checked, many of my clients didn't notice it and when their new hires got to the point where they needed to watch the video, they got stuck. The clients had to completely delete the new hires and start them all over. Since more clients will choose not to include the Code of Ethics component than will choose to include it, it would make sense to have it as an option, but default it to being unchecked.

This needs to happen sooner than later please. I have had more calls than ever as the hiring process increased in numbers lately. Many have had to delete the employee and start again. It's a little bit frustrating but I know your hearts were in the right place when the default was set. Thank you for the service, but we can't take the 10 minute process to 40-50 minutes without much notice. It just isn't something we can add to the new hire process.

Another thing about this is if you click the link next to the check box "Preview Course" it takes you to Syntrio's website and there is another link to "sign up", " become a partner" etc. which I do not want my clients to have access to.

This is more than just a video, but it's a 30 minute training course that employee cannot bypass. I agree that the default needs to be unchecked so that clients are aware of what they are requiring of their employees before sending out the on-boarding link. Especially for those clients needing to hire quickly, and forgetting to "uncheck" it, this is less than ideal.
