With the new filtered clock prompt feature, we now need to create Employee Groups for many clients and new configurations. Almost all of these groups are Smart Groups that use the "Set by criteria" feature. This process is fairly time consuming for larger clients with many Departments and/or Locations.
If you were to create a tool where we could set the specifics (ie Criteria: Department = or Department contains) and then the tool mass creates a group for each different criteria currently available under Employee Setup, it would save us (or our clients) a ton of time.
I envision this like a Wizard the runs once, but then we can use it again to create other, future groups. For example, we would run it once to create Department groups, but then could run it again to create Supervisor groups. The Name of each group would always be the criteria, but after the groups are created, the users can edit the names as desired.
