Another option would be to have the option for employees to leave a note when at the intelligent clock. It takes several more clicks to get into the timecard to leave a note. Also, perhaps a requirement to leave a note would be triggered by a late punch, or other deviation from a schedule. Of course, these types of actions would be nice to have email or text alert capability to managers
